This help file provides information about the tasks that you can perform with ACE. You also can gain access to this help in the ACE interface. To gain access to the help in the interface, click Help or press F1.

Note: Data Center 8.2 only supports ACE for Legacy PC Agents. It does not support ACE with the Connected Backup/PC 8.0 or later or Connected Data Protector/SV 2.5 Agent software. For more information about how Data Center 8.2 works with previous versions of the Agent, refer to the Connected Backup Upgrading from Pre-8.0 Versions guide.

Note: If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer with Security Patch 896358 for Microsoft Windows, use one of the following workarounds to view the help file:

Workaround 1

1. Download the Help (.chm) file to your computer.
2. Double-click the .chm file.
3. In the Open File-Security Warning field, clear the Always ask before opening this file.
4. Click Open.

Workaround 2

1. Download the Help (.chm) file to your computer.
2. Right-click the .chm file, and then click Properties.
3. Click the Unblock button and click OK.
4. Double-click the .chm file to open the file.
