Transportation service charges (secure shredding)
Transportation services are shown on your invoice as a Trip Charge and as a Handling Charge.
The Trip Charge represents the base cost of making the Transportation Visit itself. Each Trip Charge shown on your invoice will note the service level requested. For example, “Trip Charge-Rush”.
Trip Charges may include additional fees based on your distance from an Iron Mountain facility, or by your presence in certain metropolitan areas. While a Trip Charge may include either a distance zone or metropolitan zone charge, no service location will have both applied for the same Transportation Visit.
